Admissions Requirements

Meeting the admissions requirements means you have the foundation, experience, and ability to succeed in our rigorous programs. Please note that program requirements vary.

Carefully review each item listed, as incomplete applications are not be accepted or considered.

Executive MBA

Candidates for the EMBA program must have at least 7 years of professional experience and 5 or more years of management/leadership experience. Must be comfortable with the basic concepts of business, able to show progressive experience on your resume, and ready to transition into a position that is at, or the equivalent of, a C-Suite level role.

  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • A cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA recommended, but not required.

GMAT or GRE is optional but highly recommended for those who had a lower GPA (school code 5297). See GMAT for online exam details. See GRE for online exam details.

Current resume or CV detailing all previous work experience.

Two (2) letters of recommendation, one from a current supervisor.

Topics should cover personal integrity, ability to work with others; leadership qualities; oral and written communication skills; and community involvement. Recommenders should be a supervisor, a member of academia, a mentor, and someone who can attest to these capabilities.

All letters should be on official letterhead, signed, and uploaded to the online application site by recommenders. Mail the letters in a sealed envelope with the signature of the recommender on the seal.

Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. Transcripts are required to be delivered via U.S. mail (unless sent through the National Student Clearinghouse or delivered through secure University Office of the Registrar system).

Executive MBA: $75 (non-refundable)

Application fees for our online Executive MBA program will be waived for those enrolling in Summer 2020, Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 Cohorts. Feel free to speak to one of our enrollment advisors to find out more.

We do not accept transfer credits for the Executive MBA program.

Online MBA

Candidates for the OMBA program must have at least 2 years of professional experience.

  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • A cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA recommended, but not required.

GMAT or GRE is required for the Online MBA (school code 5297). See GMAT for online exam details. See GRE for online exam details.

Current resume or CV detailing all previous work experience.

Applicants may transfer a maximum of six graduate semester hours from other programs that are accredited by the AACSB-International Association for Management Education.

International Applicants

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) results for international students for whom English is not their native language should be forwarded from the Education Testing Service.

  • A score of 550 on the paper-based test (PBT)
  • A score of 79 on the internet-based test (iBT)
  • In place of the TOEFL (if not offered in your country), applicants may submit results from the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of 6.5.
